Introduction
Rhon Teruelle is an Assistant Professor of Mass Communication and Social Media in the Department of Communication and Creative Arts. His research and teaching focus on critical communication studies.
Research Overview
His research focuses on social media and civic mobilization in relation to social movements and collective action, the social implications of social media, minority groups, cultural studies, and politics. His work has appeared in Canadian Journal of Communication, Social Media & Society, Democratic Communiqué, Social Alternatives, and the SAGE Encyclopedia of Social Media and Politics.
Not only have I learned the technical skills necessary to become an accounting professional, but I also learned communication and professional development. I am confident that I have the tools to advance in my field and feel well prepared for any opportunity that comes my way.
